#50749 Buying a licence for my site

Agreed with them. I bought the full package to go live.

It's not just for not getting blacklisted, but for supporting them too. If they stop making PHPFox cause we all using nulled versions, we won't be around at PFC any more.

already i have given solutions for this many times
i dont know why people dont want to search the forum :)

add this to your custom.css for the applied theme

.activity_feed_content_image img {
max-width: 300px;
}

This helped me for getting the image fit in the feed line on mobile.

I changed this to

.activity_feed_content_image img {

#31203 Tut: How to add modules/links to dasboard of mobile menu.

Posted by Dragon on 15 May 2012 - 06:03 AM

I still see a lot of people asking for adding modules to their mobile menu dashboard. This can easily be done on the latest phpfox script.

So here we go.

If your not on 3.2 then try this.

To simply add any module that you have installed in phpfox, including third party add=ons.

If the add-on has a "callback" script in module/include/service/callback.php, just add this:

public function mobileMenu()
{
return array(
'phrase' => 'YourDesciption',
'link' => Phpfox::getLib('url')->makeUrl('modulenameurl'),
'icon' => Phpfox::getLib('image.helper')->display(array('theme' => 'mobilesmall_yourname.png'))
);
}

Add "small_yourname.png" to your template files, frontend/default/style/mobile for pointing to an image.

If you want to add external link, go to template file template.html.php, and look for the loop where it grabs the submenu build and after loop add your href statement.

Eample for the getting started module:

public function mobileMenu()
{
return array(
'phrase' => 'Help',
'link' => Phpfox::getLib('url')->makeUrl('gettingstarted'),
'icon' => Phpfox::getLib('image.helper')->display(array('theme' => 'module/small_help.png'))
);
}

If this works you can press the "Like" button.

#29437 Scripts to change your permissions before and after an update.

Yes, takes forever to do this every time. Not tested this but if it works well this is excellent.

We are willing to help. But if no one helps then it's probably because no one knows the solution.
Would be my guess.

#24402 How do I view visitor's homepage without logging out?

Make a menu

AdminCP>>CMS>>Add New Menu

Product: Core or phpFox
Module: User
Connection: Main or where you want it
Url: core.index-visitor
Language Package Details: Visitor (name it what you want)
User Group Access: set this as you want it.
Submit

Clear Cache

Done...

#24287 How do I view visitor's homepage without logging out?

Just use a different browser and don't log in with it. No need to mess around with code.

That's how I do it. :)

#22796 Register users with same mail adress

Posted by Dragon on 28 March 2012 - 04:20 PM

So you just need to create some fake profiles, right?

If so, you can create as many profiles with fake emails if you want and verify them in Admin Cp.

Or set no email verification when register.

#22715 Timeline 'facebook style'

Posted by Dragon on 28 March 2012 - 07:40 AM

ok honestly my opinion is gonna get shoved out there. but i rather have something different from facebook, myspace, twitter, youtube, etc... cause if you look like any of them sites then you will not get any members. i rather not be one of the wannabes but i am looking for someone to make a custom theme for my site and a different look. im also working on creating some mods but if it works i will more than likely share it. but think what you do to your site. trust me.

Exactly. I never wanted to look like any other site. If I were a hardcore coder or a themer I would made something different. But I ain't. :(
